The Data Visualization Analyst will be a member of the Analytics Team. You will be responsible for simplifying and communicating advanced analytics to internal and external customers. You will help promote self-service analytics and enable data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with customers and the analytics team to effectively communicate through visualizations and dashboards.
Professional Requirements/Preferences

Fluency in SQL or other querying language

3+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Power BI Preferred

Fluency in SQL or other querying language

UX / UI Design Experience; emphasis in dashboard design

Ability to think from the perspective of insight consumers

Ability to communicate complex analysis through simple and intuitive representations

Experience with cloud data warehouse technology and data lake technology (e.g. Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, etc.)

Experience in data manipulation, modeling, ETL (e.g. Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Alteryx, etc.)

Strong analytical skills

What you’ll do:

Power self-service and data discovery for users

Identify and understand the difference user roles who engage with analytics

Contribute client outcomes, success stories and opportunities to drive business efforts

Design and build dashboards for both internal and external clients, to help them solve problems and understand their data better

Provide subject matter expertise in visualization techniques/tools, determine which best work on the data types, and also understand the limitations of each technique

Help build data literacy across the organization
